On the 23rd of October all of the 3/4 grades went to Sovereign Hill from 10 till 6:45. My favourite part was going gold panning, even though i didn’t find any gold it was still really fun learning and doing it. One thing i learnt is that the miners got sick while they were in the mines. Another thing i learnt is that children had to wear really specific clothes for clothes. One last thing i learnt is that lots of chinese and people from other countries came over for the gold rush.If i could have a job in the 1850s i would do gold panning because i like doing it and i am pretty good at it.
